Lisa has been a dedicated yoga student since 1995 when she first began her practice. She was initially drawn to the physical aspects but her practice and teaching have evolved to encompass pranayama, meditation and philosophy. She continues to study under the Iyengar, Jivamukti and Ashtanga lineages. She completed the Nandi Yoga Teacher Training Program with Wendy Klein in 2014 and Nandi’s Intern Program in 2015, and was also certified by Loren Fishman in MD’s Yoga for Osteoporosis and Tari Prinster in Y4C (Yoga for Cancer).
Lisa believes that a dedicated and consistent yoga practice over time can bring about a subtle yet powerful ability to be more present in our lives and gain a deeper understanding of ourselves. She hopes to share this passion and curiosity and encourage her students to translate the strength, flexibility, and peace of mind gained on the yoga mat into daily life.
